Edo APC Unveils plan by PDP to Invade INEC office with Disbanded State Security Network,

Oct 9, 2024 The Edo State chapter of the All progressive congress (APC) said it has unveiled plan by the people's Democratic party (PDP) to invade the Independent National Electoral commission (INEC),  headquarters in Benin city using the members of the disbanded Edo State security network (ESSN). A statement by the State chairman of the party, Jarrett Tenebe said "arising from the outcome of the inspection of election materials by political parties at the INEC office in Edo State, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) out of frustration has finalised plans to invade the inspection venue with members of the disbanded Edo State Security Network (ESSN). Clerics in Southern Nigeria hinges religious intolerance, conflicts on political manipulation, ignorance

By Editor July 27, 2024 Religious leaders in Southern Nigeria have blamed ignorance and political manipulations for religious intolerance and conflicts in the country. DailyMonitorngr reports that the religious leaders, who are from Edo, Ebonyi and Osun States were unanimous that if adherents of both Islam and Christianity had the full knowledge of both religions, there would be less religious intolerance and conflicts in the country.
