AAU gets NAFDAC certification to produce Diabetes, Enlarged prostate herbal drug

By Editor  August 24, 2023  The National Agency For Food And Drug Administration And Control ( NAFDAC) has approved a patent right to Ambrose Alli University (AAU) Ekpoma for the production of Diabetes Mellitus and Enlarged prostate herbal drug.  DailyMonitorngr reports that Otunba Mike Ade Aladenika, Head, Corporate Communication & Protocol of the university disclosed this in a statement made available to newsmen in Benin City. Aladenika said the herbal product was prepared by Professor Jonathan  Emordi, Head, Department of Pharmacology, and Sub-Dean, of Basic Clinical Sciences, College of Medicine of the university. 15 persons kidnapped in Akoko-Edo in one month, 1 killed, 5 missing --- Edo lawmaker

By Editor August 23, 2023 No fewer than 15 persons have been kidnapped in the last one month in Akoko-Edo local Government Area of Edo State. DailyMonitorngr reports that Hon Donald Okogbe, People's Democratic Party (PDP), lawmaker representing Akoko-Edo constituency II in the state House of Assembly made the disclosure in a  matter of urgent public importance at the plenary. Dailymonitorngr reports that the members also suspended the trio for alleged inconsistencies in the financial report prepared with little or no input from the financial secretary.
