Benin City Agog As Azemhe Azena Join Others to Welcome Peter Obi

A foremost Labour Party governorship aspirant in Edo state,  Dr Azemhe Azena and his massive entourage joined other party faithful in a tumultuous welcome of the Labour Party Presidential candidate in the last election, Mr Peter Obi, to Edo State yesterday.

Dr Azemhe, whose presence with his supporters was immense, used the occasion of the Labour Party Edo state local councils election mega rally to extol the virtues of the Party as one formidable force for change in Edo state.

The gubernatorial aspirant, in the joy of the occasion, reminded the people of Peter Obi's consistent message to turn our nation from a consumption to a production economy with the pivotal role of the local governments in mind.

He advocated that a greater attention should  be given to governance at the local government level. 

Azemhe added that " we must remember the admonition of Peter Obi, a call to action and an invitation to embrace change knowing fully well that our nation's destiny is in our hand". 

The occasion which saw to the handing over of Labour Party  flags to the Local Council's election aspirants was well attended by prominent party chieftains and notable indigenes of the state.
