The Chairman,Bob Izua conglomerate, Chief John Osamede Adun on Monday gave assurance of supporting the Edo State Chairman of the Nigeria Union of journalists (NUJ), Comrade Festus Alenkhe towards giving his late mother a befitting burial.
Recall that the state NUJ chairman's mother Madam Rose Akuogbe Alenkhe passed on November 7, 2022 after a brief illness.
Chief John Osamede Adun, popularly known as "Bob Izua", gave the assurance during a condolence visit to Edo State chairman of the Nigeria (NUJ) at his family house in Benin City.
The Benin based business mogul who said the NUJ Chairman stood solidly behind him when he lost his mother and throughout the burial ceremony noted that he will not abandon him now that his assistance is needed.
According to him, life is about good turn deserve another. This will be the best time to reciprocate all that the NUJ Chairman who is my friend did for me when I lost my dear mother.
" Comrade Festus Alenkhe was solidly with me the time I lost my mother as well through the burial ceremonies. He played pivotal roles to ensure that my mother's burial ceremonies well on. For that I will surely be with him to ensure that his late mother burial also go on successful",he said.
Bob Izua who described the late Madam Alenkhe a caring, loving and God fearing mother, prayed for the repose of her soul.
"The fact that the late Mrs Alenkhe lived a worthy life is enough consolation to the family she left behind", he added.
He urged the NUJ Chairman and the entire family to live harmoniously, eschew bitterness and work in unity in whatever they do.
Responding, Comrade Festus Alenkhe, commended the Chairman of Bob Izua conglomerate for the visit, for the show of love and concern.
Alenkhe, who said, he will missed his mother greatly noted that the children were proud to have her as their mother.
