AZEMHE AZENA MOURNS CHIEF DOKPESI

A popular philanthropist and one of the foremost governorship aspirants on the platform of the Labour Party in the forthcoming gubernatorial election in Edo state, Dr Azemhe Azena, has expressed shock over the death of the founder of the first Independent Television Network in Nigeria, AIT, Chief Aliegho Raymond Dokpesi.

Azemhe said  High Chief Raymond Dokpesi was a highly respected and accomplished Media magnate, entrepreneur and philanthropist of note who dedicated his life to the service of his country and his community.

He  described him as " a man of many parts, a marine Engineer, a media guru and an astute businessman whose love for the people of Etsako in particular, is unquantifiable".

Dr Raymond Anthony Dokpesi, the Ezomo of Weppa-Wanno Kingdom in Etsako East local government of Edo state died today, May the 29th according to the press release signed by his son, Raymond Dokpesi Jnr.

" A great son of Edo state has fallen. We will forever live to remember his contributions towards the development of Edo state in particular through his media outfits and his generosity to all that comes his way", Azena said.
