In every generation, there comes a man who sees beyond the ordinary realm of men into the desired future; a future that guarantees a society where people live to their maximum potentials for the collective good of all.

To South Korea, it was Lee Kuan Yew who birthed the great ideas that took the nation from a third-world country to a first. Mao Tse Dong build the foundation that led China to the bipolar superpower the nation is today, just to mention a few.

What was common with such men was the extraordinary power of vision which became a driving force that helped them drive everyone, institutions and the state towards a definite direction and a goal. Their humility and tenacity were outstanding which in turn made them charismatic and helped to influence even the most difficult of men.

Dr Azemhe Azena  is a packaged opportunity thrown to the people of Edo State in such a time as this to bring back the lost glory through a divine vision, mission and purpose.

His vision of transforming the economy of Edo state through the liberation and empowerment of the teeming youth population over the years is a pointer to this fact.

His love for Agriculture as a potential mainstay of the Edo state economy when given the desired attention and his consistent resolve to leverage cash crops farming where we have a comparative advantage over many states is another pointer. 

As a man who has never lived outside the state up until now and has dwelled in both rural and urban settlements within the state, this renowned philanthropist understands the role a fully functional agricultural sector can play in providing employment and social engineering for a potentially restive youth population in the state.

His vision of providing amnesty to the violent youth to curb criminality and restiveness has continued to draw accolades from far and near even from among the youth population, the reason Dr Azena has become their favourite all the time.

This ebullient Televangelist is not a regular politician. He's a man with a divine mandate to liberate men from the shackles of penury and deprivation having suffered abject poverty and untold hardship himself, in his formative years. So, he has the wand for the change we all deserve and the strength of character to lead us to the promised land.

 This is the story of a visionary leader that Providence has thrown up for us to grab at this point in Edo state. He deserves our collective support. Our future is his vision.
