CHILDREN'S DAY: AZEMHE AZENA REKINDLE HOPE FOR THE CHILDREN

A frontline governorship aspirant in Edo State, Dr Azemhe Azena, has assured the children that the future they desire is guaranteed while admonishing them to have faith in the system.

In his special message to the children and people of Edo state through his Media team, the clergyman added that parents should "train up their children in the fear of the Lord" while adding that the children represent the future of every nation and therefore, must not be neglected.

The renowned philanthropist who has for long been a benefactor to several children within and outside the state assured them of better days ahead. "Have respect for your parents and hope for your country. There are better days ahead", he said.

Dr Azemhe Azena is a popular philanthropist and Televangelist and a governorship hopeful under Labour Party, LP, in Edo state in the upcoming 2024 governorship elections.

Six old commissioners make Obaseki's list

Gov. Godwin Obaseki By Editor June 8, 2023 Edo State Governor, Mr Godwin Obaseki has reappointed six of the former commissioners hitherto relieved of their jobs. Dailymonitorngr reports that the governor had last month sacked all the civil commissioners, Special Advisers and all other political appointees in the state except the Chief of Staff and Secretary to the State Government. The former commissioners reappointed are Ethan Osaze Uzamere, former commissioner of Oil and Gas,  Christopher Osaretin Nehikhare, Information and Communication, Monday Osaigbovo, Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs.  Others are  Dr. Joan Osa-Oviawe, Commissioner for Education, Isoken Omo, for Physical Planning, Housing, Urban and Regional Development and Stephen Ehikhioya Idehenre, for Agriculture and Food Security.
