Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, has sacked civil commissioners and over 200 aides from the state executive council.

Dailymonitorngr reports that the sacking of the aides takes immediate effect.

A statement by Crusoe Osagie Special Adviser, Media Projects to the State Governor said the sacking affected all Special Assistants (SAs) and Senior Special Assistants (SSAs).
