Dr Azemhe Azena, a leading Governorship aspirant on the platform of the  Labour Party (LP) has felicitated with the Edo State workers on the celebration of the international Workers' Day.

A statement by the governorship hopeful's Media Response Team and made available to Dailymonitorngr in Benin City commended the resilient and hard-working employees in Edo state as they celebrate Workers' Day.

He opined that in spite of many years of state-induced hardship and the general economic downturn facing the world, the Edo state workers have always been known for honesty and dedication to duty.

The popular philanthropist added that the efforts of Edo state workers and their contributions to the general advancement of the state and the nation at large will never remain unnoticed by posterity.

He, however, wished Edo state workers an impactful and successful celebration.
