Dr Azemhe Azena, a leading governorship aspirant of the Labour Party (LP) in Edo state, has commiserated with the families of victims of the road accident which occurred yesterday near the Ovia River bridge on the Benin-Ore express road, where eleven people lost their lives.

In his condolence message, made available to newsmen in Benin City by his campaign media team, the Televangist criticized the authorities for negligence as the same failed portion of the road had led to several loss of lives in the recent past.

Azemhe prayed for the repose of the souls of the dead and the fortitude to bear the loss by the bereaved families.

He, however,  called on governments to give urgent attention to the repair of bad roads within and outside Edo state.

At press time, eight other victims are said to be receiving treatment for various degrees of injuries at the hospital.
