Dr Azemhe Azena, a popular Edo-born philanthropist and an  aspirant in the 2023 governorship election has called for a people-oriented governance.

Azemhe, in a message to the nation through his media team noted  that
people-oriented governance is the hallmark of true Democracy.

He opined that  a government that is not elected by the people cannot be for the people.

He, however, posited that until and unless the people "have their say and their way" true Democracy cannot be said to be practised in Nigeria.

The renowned television host of the popular program, "Turning Point", who thanked God and Nigerians for the journey so far, called for justice, fair play and the enhancement of the rule of law in our nation.
