Ex-Council boss congratulates Adaze Aguele- Kalu on her appointment as commissioner

Hon. Peter Aguele, the immediate past Chairman of Esan South East Local Government Area of Edo State has congratulated, Mrs Joy Adaze Aguele- Kalu on her appointment as a civil commissioner by the Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki.

Aguele in a statement made available to Dailymonitorngr described her appointment as well deserved, timely and apt honour which decorates her as it does the family too.

The former council boss who was optimistic that she would blaze the trail in the endeavour and excel, noted that the appointment comes with much responsibilities.

According to him, I must emphasize that this is only the beginning of greater feats for you as the formidable woman that you have become. 

He said with the appointment comes responsibilities and the sense of duty which she wittily exude without efforts.

Dailymonitorngr reports that Mrs Joy Adaze Aguele- Kalu until her appointment as commissioner was a former executive director, Housing Finance, Accounts and Corporate Services at the Federal Housing Authority (FHA).

She was also a two-time presidential political appointee and the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Green Bridge Advisory, a Sustainable Development Goal and Climate Finance Advisory.

She is a Chartered Accountant and Seasoned Investment Banker with over 23 years of international leadership experience in the private and public sectors.

The commissioner who had since been sworn-in by the State Governor Godwin Obaseki, served as Executive Director, Asset Management at the Nigeria Electricity Liability Management Company.

Her duty was overseeing worldwide assets of the defunct PHCN, and the chief Marketing Officer and Deputy Head, Institutional sales at BGL PLC, a renowned Investment Bank in Nigeria with a focus on capital for infrastructure.
