Edo 2024 Guber: LP Aspirant offers free Post UTME forms to over 250 candidates

Over 250 candidates seeking admission into the University of Benin (UNIBEN)  have benefitted from William Azemhe Azena Turning Point Foundation's free Post UTME forms.

DailyMonitorngr reports that the entries for the free Post-UTME forms started on June 1 and ended on June 31st, 2023.

The Foundation is an initiative of the Senior Pastor of Omega Fire Ministry, Southern Region 2,  Dr Azemhe Azena, one of the leading aspirants for the  2024 governorship election on the platform of the Labour Party (LP).

Azemhe, the Labour Party governorship candidate hopeful presented the print-out and log-in details to the beneficiaries in Benin City.

The popular Televangelist and politician said the forms was only for students seeking admission into the University of Benin.

He opined that the gesture was part of his contribution to the success story of the beneficiaries whom are less privilege and desirous for tertiary education.

He noted  that the William Azemhe Azena Turning Point Foundation is a Non Governmental Organization set up to reduce social vices among the youths in the society.

He said that the offer is open to all students that reside in Edo State, scored 220 and above in the last Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) conducted by  the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).

The renowned clergyman who is a known advocate of qualitative education for the youth, opined that the Nigeria youths deserves the best and need their attention especially those resident in Edo state where idleness can easily become a distraction and a social problem.

According to him, everyone must strive to contribute to the educational development of our teeming youth population. The free  Post-UTME forms is for all eligible candidates residing in Edo State.

He, however, urged the beneficiaries to  allow the gesture spur them to greatness, assuring that more beneficiaries will emerge before the post UTME window closes.

DailyMonitorngr recalled that Azemhe, had donated a Generator set to the correctional facility in the state and paid the hospital bills of several indigent patients at the popular Irrua specialist hospital.

He had also carried out several humanitarian gestures, including the rehabilitation of the failed WAEC road in the Aduwawa area of Benin- City.
