7th Anniversary: Your fatherly, humanitarian dispositions equal to none-- Azemhe Eulogies Oba of Benin

Dr Azemhe Azena, one of the leading Labour Party aspirants for the 2024 governorship election in Edo State  has said that the Benin monarch, Oba Ewuare II, fatherly roles, wise counsel, administrative, and humanitarian dispositions are equalled to none.

Azemhe gave the commendations in his congratulatory message to celebrate the monarch on his 7th coronation anniversary.

He noted that the Royal Father is a reference point in the traditional institution in Nigeria.

Azemhe , a Senior Pastor, Omega Fire Ministries, South Region 2, and a  televangelist opined that the Oba of Benin, has since ascended the throne of his forefathers, continued to promote peace, stability, and progress in Edo state and indeed in Nigeria.

The Labour Party governorship aspirant hopeful joined other Edo people and Nigerians within and in diaspora to pray God Almighty  to grant the Benin Monarch many more years of fruitful reign on the exalted throne.

He also prayed for his  good health, vitality, wisdom and strength to continue to contribute more to the advancement and development of the society

Six old commissioners make Obaseki's list

Gov. Godwin Obaseki By Editor June 8, 2023 Edo State Governor, Mr Godwin Obaseki has reappointed six of the former commissioners hitherto relieved of their jobs. Dailymonitorngr reports that the governor had last month sacked all the civil commissioners, Special Advisers and all other political appointees in the state except the Chief of Staff and Secretary to the State Government. The former commissioners reappointed are Ethan Osaze Uzamere, former commissioner of Oil and Gas,  Christopher Osaretin Nehikhare, Information and Communication, Monday Osaigbovo, Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs.  Others are  Dr. Joan Osa-Oviawe, Commissioner for Education, Isoken Omo, for Physical Planning, Housing, Urban and Regional Development and Stephen Ehikhioya Idehenre, for Agriculture and Food Security.
