Edo 2024: 38-yrs-old Engineer, treks 108km from Auchi to Benin in support of Azemhe Azena

A 38-year-old IT Engineer, Kenneth Ifeloa has part of his support for the 2024 governorship aspiration of Dr Azemhe Azena embarked on 108 kilometres journey on foot from Auchi to Benin City.
Dailymonitorngr reports that the adventurous journey which took five days started from Auchi in Etsako-West local government area of Edo state on November 20, at 6:10 am and ended in Benin on November 25, at 11:20am.
Speaking on the rationale behind his adventure, the IT Engineer expert hinged his motivation on the deprivation and the deplorable state of infrastructure in Edo state.
Kenneth who hails from Amah in Anwain clan in the Etsako-west local government area, opined that he was optimistic that when Dr Azemhe is given the mandate to fly the Labour Party's ticket and eventually the winner of the governorship election most of the deplorable roads will be fixed.
"When I heard that Pastor Azemhe Azena is interested in contesting for the governorship position in the next election, knowing the calibre of a leader that he is, I was elated. Then I felt to thank him by creating awareness so we do not miss this golden opportunity.
"I am optimistic that if Pastor (Dr) Azemhe Azena is given the mandate come 2024 to govern Edo State things will change from good to better if not best. He have demonstrated his worth in terms of managing human and capital resources.
"The records of how he had and still impacting positively on the people are all vincible for all men to see. He has through his scholarship scheme made education ease to several people, in healthcare, empowerment, employment among others he has done enough to make life more meaningful to several persons.
"I am also confident that with what he has done on some roads, in his time, as governor, the deplorable roads in the state will get maximum attention", he said.
Responding,the elated Dr Azemhe, who received the 38-year-old, Kenneth Ifeloa in company of supporters in his home in Aduwawa, expressed shock on his love for him and support for his political aspiration.
Azemhe, who said he was equally awed by the noble but risky journey embarked upon by Mr Ifeloa, prayed for him and his family.
He, promised that he would not disappoint the good people of Edo state, especially those who put themselves in discomfort like Mr Ifeloa, to project his desires for the state when elected as governor of Edo state next year.
