To have hope at all is good. But to anchor such hope on something or someone that is undeniably reliable is most soothing and comforting. 

Dr Azemhe Azena, among so many of his contemporaries, is a unique hope that must be leveraged. Here is a homeboy, a pure breed, brought up, schooled, worked and lived in Edo state all his life. 

He not only understands the problems of the people and the needed solutions to curb them, but he's equally humble and readily approachable and available to serve the people in the most altruistic manner you can ever wish for.

This ebullient philanthropist and Televangelist is not coming to learn the ropes but to continue what he has been doing to make our society a better place to stay and be glad.

For over a decade, Dr Azemhe Azena has been a packaged answer to the cry of many distressed widows,  students, prison inmates, ex-prisoners, hospital patients and indigent communities, especially in Edo state. 

Giving him the mandate to govern Edo state will be nothing else but an amplified continuation of the many and countless humanitarian gestures and community development that have become his daily goals and aspirations. Let us all aspire to his inspiration. With him,  a better Edo state is possible!

Six old commissioners make Obaseki's list

Gov. Godwin Obaseki By Editor June 8, 2023 Edo State Governor, Mr Godwin Obaseki has reappointed six of the former commissioners hitherto relieved of their jobs. Dailymonitorngr reports that the governor had last month sacked all the civil commissioners, Special Advisers and all other political appointees in the state except the Chief of Staff and Secretary to the State Government. The former commissioners reappointed are Ethan Osaze Uzamere, former commissioner of Oil and Gas,  Christopher Osaretin Nehikhare, Information and Communication, Monday Osaigbovo, Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs.  Others are  Dr. Joan Osa-Oviawe, Commissioner for Education, Isoken Omo, for Physical Planning, Housing, Urban and Regional Development and Stephen Ehikhioya Idehenre, for Agriculture and Food Security. Edo Guber 2024: Come home to liberate us, group appeals to Federal Permanent Secretary

Dr Ernest Afolabi Umakhihe By Editor Dec 19, 2023 A group under the aegis of  Concerned Edo Citizens Forum (CECF) has called on Dr. Ernest Afolabi Umakhihe the outgoing Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security, to the join the race for the 2024  governorship election in the State to liberate it from the shackles of oppressive leaders. Dailymonitorngr reports that the group noted that the state had over the years been governed by oppressive leaders.
