AAU, matriculates 4,051 students for 2023/2024 academic session

Ambrose Alli University, AAU, Ekpoma, in Esan West Local Government Area of Edo State has matriculated  4,051 students for the 
 2023/2024 academic session.

DailyMonitorngr reports that the acting  Vice-Chancellor of the  State-owned university, Professor Asomwan Sonnie Adagbonyin, who administered the oaths on the new students, urged them not to de-market themselves or the. University.”

Adagbonyin, who told the students that the institution has zero tolerance for cultism and other social vices, advised then not to be led astray by bad friends.

He also urged the matriculants to  use social media with wisdom and shun all evil associations 

While appealing to the new students to be focused on the vision and mission of their studentship, he noted that they should embrace the opportunities that lie ahead, explore new horizons, and strive for academic excellence in all their endeavours.

According to him, I urge you to engage actively in your studies, to seek knowledge beyond the confines of the classroom and to challenge yourselves to reach new heights of academic achievement.

Adagbonyin, who said the matriculants were drawn from 11 faculties of the institution, however, warned them against violating the rules and regulations guiding the  students of the University, noting that a breach of the oath had  its consequences.
