8th Anniversary: Your reign brought renewed pride, unity, peace, development to Benin Kingdom-- Deputy Speaker eulogies Oba of Benin

Deputy Speaker of Edo State House of Assembly, Hon Maria Edeko said the past eight years of the reign of Oba of Benin, Oba Ewuare II has brought renewed pride to the Benin Kingdom, fostering peace, unity, and development.

The Peoples Democreatic Party (PDP) lawmaker representing Esan North- East II in the House of Assembly made the remark in her congratulatory message to facilitate the Benin monarch on the occasion of his birthday and 8th Coronation Anniversary. 

Edeko also noted that in the past years, the Royal Father has preserved the rich heritage and cultural identity of the Benin kingdom.

She opined that His Royal Majesty's reign had been marked by wisdom, cultural renaissance, and an unwavering commitment to the values and traditions of the great Benin Kingdom.

She also posited that His Royal Majesty’s visionary leadership has not only been a beacon of hope for the Benin Kingdom but also for Edo State as a whole, nurturing a spirit of progress, resilience, and mutual respect. 

"Under his reign, the timeless traditions of the Benin people have been revitalized, bridging the past with the present and inspiring future generations to carry forth our cherished legacy.

"As we celebrate this auspicious occasion, we express our deep gratitude for the fatherly guidance, wisdom, and peace His Royal Majesty has continually bestowed upon us. 

"May his reign continue to be blessed with good health, long life, and the unwavering support of his subjects.

"On behalf of the industrious people of Esan North East constituency 11, I extend our heartfelt congratulations to His Royal Majesty, Oba Ewuare II, and wish him many more years of fruitful reign on the throne of his forefathers,"she prayed.
