By Dr Andrew Eigbedion November 22, 2024   I want to first and foremost congratulate our newly sworn-in Executive Governor of Edo State, Senator Monday Okpebholo alias Akpokomiza on his ascension into office on the 12th November, 2024. The indices before all and sundry as I write this letter is that the Governor has hit the ground running. Over the past week, we have witnessed major pronouncements and appointments. First was the appointment of some key players in his Cabinet. Also was the appointment of some Commissioners and Heads of major Agencies and Parastatals. We have also witnessed a series of pronouncements about the dissolution of all Edo State owned Government Boards. Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo  By Editor November 16, 2024 The Edo State chapter of the Coalition of Registered Political Parties, CRPP, has urged  Governor Monday Okpebholo to put policies in place to checkmate the activities of market unions to reduce the high cost of foodstuffs in the State. Dailymonitorngr  reports that Dr. Samson Isibor, the State chairman of CRPP gave the advised on Saturday in a statement made available to newsmen in Benin City while setting agenda for Governor Monday Okpebholo-led government.
